The sustainable eyewear pioneer
neubau eyewear’s summer 2020 highlights - ready for a sunny weekend!
Eco eyewear label neubau eyewear is a pioneer when it comes to sustainability – and this summer they are proving once again that excellent eyewear design and an eco-friendly company philosophy can go hand in hand. With the models for 2020, the Austrian label is presenting a range of highlights made from natural materials – the ultimate accessory for an endless, sustainable summer.
French style made from 100% plant-based materials
The Côte du Soleil special edition from the high-end segment of Austrian eyewear label neubau eyewear is inspired by the lifestyle of the French Riviera in the 60s. The range consists of the three models ROMY, ALAIN and MAURICE, made using resource-efficient 3D printing technology and natural3D, a sustainable, 100% bio-based material developed by neubau eyewear from the oil of castor oil seeds.
Green perspectives – When nature sets the frame(work)
The fact that a lifestyle of urbanity and sustainable consumption can also be combined with modern, contemporary designs for accessories is proven by neubau eyewear’s models made from naturalPX. Here, the sustainable material, which consists of 65% castor oil, meets a timeless design. The result is fashionable eyewear that perfectly rounds off the matching long-lasting, ethical outfits.
Three-dimensional views from the 3D printer
With their 3D models, neubau eyewear is heralding in a new era of eyewear trends – glasses printed on a 3D printer. Avantgarde, extravagant and sustainable, the models by the Austrian eyewear label boast an incredibly stylish design. Highlights include the 3D embellishments that give these models their futuristic look and are produced in a particularly eco-friendly way.
Using innovative 3D printing technology, it is possible to produce complex and intricate structures. The production method is particularly resource-efficient as the powdered plastic is printed layer by layer by a laser and any excess material is reused.
